Beware of the mental communication in the book

Story is fun and enjoyable as well as entertaining. Voice is strong and clear however the volume goes up and down during the recording (bit annoying but ok) Now for the VERY jarring part…. When the MC uses mental communication with his “team” it is JARRING AF!!!!! The use of distortion and special sound effects is off putting to say the least. Thankfully it is not used often.

Accurate description

This series is a cross between Bosch and Constatine. Very entertaining and enjoyable listen. Not a everyday hero for sure but someone you can root for.

good urban series

I really enjoyed this box set. will worth the credit. good character development. lots of fun characters. love Pandemic and Artemus. Definitely adult material. I will keep following this series and author

Imaginative storytelling

I enjoyed the gritty, snarky characters. The author tells a great story. And the narrator has the perfect voice for the main character

It wasn't quite what I expected, it was better!

As a fan of supernatural, preternatural and horror genres, the summary of this series hit all the right keys. However, the summary didn't do it justice. I finished listening to the first three books on the 22nd of September and couldn't wait for the end of the month to get the other 3 book compendium with my monthly Audible credit. I bought more and immediately used one to get them. Great Job, N.P Martin and Brian Wiggins.

An enjoyable listen

I was surprised at how much I ended up liking this one. It’s 3 books for one credit, so I figured I would take a chance.

I would strongly recommend this series. It does have strong language, violence, drug abuse and supernatural themes. If any of those disturb you, give it a pass. If not, I think most will enjoy this modern take on the hard bitten, film noir type of detective series with a supernatural side.

The writing is enjoyable and characters are relatable. The narration is very, very good.

All in all, a very good use of a credit. I will be listening to the rest of the series.

HOOKED!

I purchased all 3 books as a bundle and gladly purchased the next 3. The storyline hooked me from the beginning and kept me intrigued till the last sentence. this is definitely one to listen to and the narrator is perfect for the role.

AAA story and audio production - DIY execution

amazing trilogy of stories. the author arts up a lot to juggle and doesn't faulter at keeping it all going without a hitch. constantly a few strings pulling at ya to keep you wondering what's next. looking forward to the next three!
