INDULGING!!

If you want to "Indulge" in a juicy romantic story, this is it. One trip to a hedonistic vacation resort in Jamaica, Anna James Bennett turns out to have the time of her life, wild sex with a sexy stranger, Beau, who was polyamorous. I love the twist and turns this story went. I couldn't put it down, I want to get to the next chapters without stopping. The narration was pleasing to, it fits the scenario situations. A great love conquers all story with a HEA.

Rebound romance. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

This is Sexy romance. It starts at a hedonistic resort in Jamaica, where two people, who just got out of long term relationships, meet. There is also a touch of opposites attract where the man is 11 years older than the woman, and the woman is into Vanilla sex and the man is into... chocolate chip peanut butter with hot fudge, sprinkles and a cherry on top sex? Is that the opposite of vanilla? It’s a pretty easy listen but there is a touch of annoying angst towards the end that was a bit grading and drawn out.

Narration is pretty great except Ava’s Jamaican accent needs a bit of work. Joe Arden can speak to me in a slow southern jaw all. Day. Long.

The HEA is great with three years into the future.

What other book might you compare Indulge to and why?

it's a shorter version of the Crossfire series in my opinion. It had everything from Lust, Love, Betrayal, Family, Marriage, and Babies. It feels like the book was a full circle. We get to meet the characters when they are healing from heart breaks and they evolve in their relationship. We see them come full circle in the life of the book. I truly enjoyed Beau's POV the most.

What does Joe Arden and Ava Erickson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love how Joe Arden brings the book to life he adds that special lust in his narrating. I also enjoyed listening to his POV the most. I got the most out of the story in the last chapters of the book due to Beau's POV.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book made me cry more than laugh. I was very mad at Anna James for what she did to Beau. I was very happy in the beginning of the book when they were getting to know eachother and he starts to think of a future with her. Overall it was a well written love story. I just would have loved to see a little more detail of their life after they got together it seems that the last few chapters were so rushed. It could have used a few more chapters to this book or a novella. You share so much with the charcthers in the beginnning and to rush the end was unfortunate.

This is a book you can not, repeat CAN NOT stop listening/reading. This book is worth the money or credit, just do it!
It isn't a typical romance, or a typical "he doesn't like commitment, but then he met her"

I wasn't sure if I was going to like this book in the beginning but as I listened I became hooked. I finished it in one day! I recommend it this book.

INDULGE YOURSELVES IN THIS STEAMY LOVE STORY

Anna James has just divorced her cheating (now ex) husband so her loyal best friend and her husband buy her a First Class holiday - to accompany them to Indulge - a Hedonistic Resort in Jamaica where all your sexual indulgences are catered for. They are happily married Swingers and love the lifestyle but AJ is Vanilla through and through so takes some convincing to go. However, on AJ's first night there she meets Beau Emerson - a very handsome, very sexy and very drool worthy Alpha Member who is also alone and he's ready to bury himself in multiple women because he wants to forget what just happen to him in his now broken up polyamorous relationship. Neither one of them was looking for love.... it was just meant to be 'good times and lots of sex' but on the eighth day of their very hot romance they both realized they wanted more. However, things didn't work out that way because a betrayal and misplaced assumptions forced AJ to flee.... heartbroken - and with more than she'd come with - or bargained for.

Beau didn't know what he'd done or why AJ had fled and, even though he knew he loved her, he still went back to his polyamorous lifestyle.... and that move would eventually come back and bite him in the ass some 14 months later. However, shocking unbelievable news propels him to go and claim his woman back. Beau has a plan, he knows just where AJ's going to be - they are both from the South, live 40 minutes away from each other and nothing is going to stop him..... but a twist has him reeling and a shocking discovery derails his entire plans.

From the start of their relationship the banter between these two characters was smooth and easy, there was humor, their chemistry and attraction to each other was off the charts and this led to some hot n heavy love scenes. Beau was a great character (and very talented with his dirty mouth girls!) but AJ made a couple of stupid wrong turns which led to heartbreak, angst, drama and the loss of some precious time before they eventually got their HEA ending. Initially told from AJ's POV but further into the listen we start to hear Beau's POV too. The narration was good, the storyline was entertaining, addictive and hot.

Worth a credit? Yes, it's an enjoyable Contemporary romance where both the Hero and Heroine made mistakes, suffered because of them, forgave each other and reaped the rewards in a sweet sweet Epilogue.

Disappointed in narrators

Story not bad, but narrators ruined it for me. Especially the male voice of Beau.
