In the Jaws of a Dilemma

A woman is found dead on the outskirts of Trinidad, Colorado. The police believe she was mauled by a bear, so game warden Randy Waters is called in to handle the case. Sensationalism brings an influx of news media spreading the gruesome attack. Preliminary investigation by Waters convinces him the woman was murdered and staged to look like a bear attack. The false story spreads, and vigilante hunters begin shooting every bear on sight.Waters calls in his friend, a detective in Colorado Springs to help him work the murder angle. As they work the case, another attack happens starting the media circus again.When the suspect is finally identified a chase scene covers the wild country near Raton Pass.
