Although this may sound delightful, what happened? Susie reads "The End of Normal Sex", an article by Marty Klein, who lays out the religious right's and repressive government's take on how we're all going to hell. If abortion, sex toys, and homosexuality can be embraced, we're heading for ruin. Susie has more insight into why the conservatives are so scared.
Next, Susie profiles author Shawna Kenney's new audiobook I Was a Teenage Dominatrix: A Memoir. Susie loves this book and says it is one of the best sex-work memoirs she's ever read. Kenney was a college student who needed more cash and stumbled into being a dominatrix when she answered an ad. The audiobook is narrated by Johanna Parker, and it's so much fun to listen to - so Susie has an excerpt for us to hear.
