Today, Susie takes a look at a recent study about monogamy and young heterosexual couples. Seems that 40% of the pairs had a problem with straight talk on exclusivity. While one partner said he or she hadn't agreed to be sexually exclusive, the other partner thought they had. Wow! That's a lot of miscommunication and misunderstanding in some intimate relationships. Susie wonders if taking a different approach to talking about commitment, love, and trust may help these couples find agreement.

Next, "We the Spiteful": Is American conservatism spurred on by bad sex? Susie and some of her fellow sexperts have been discussing what makes some right-wingers so hateful. One interesting angle is that these (mostly) guys are ticked-off because they don't get enough good booty. Can pent-up sexual frustration really be the cause of bitter and vile comments from many righteous people today? If so, what might happen if there was a sexual awakening for those with dismal sex lives? Would everyone become a liberal?

Then, in our "Try This at Home" mailbag, Susie responds to a letter from a listener who questions whether kinky sex is really sex positive. Aren't BDSM couples really just in need of a good therapist? Susie has a lot to say about this, and look out - 'cause she'll be looking at your mental health, too!
