Susie takes us through the entire gamut of public fears, from people's take on intermarriage and the "other", to what racism and scriptures have to do with voting democratically.

Susie also takes a look at Palin's role in stirring up anxiety about black culture and the notion of sexually liberal black men preying on white women. And we can't forget the Republican's past ploys of using sex as a weapon to smear the opposition.
