Susie celebrates her 50th birthday this week. In honor of the big event, she starts off this week's show by looking at a book called Fifty Things to Do When You Turn Fifty, edited by Ronnie Sellers. The book features suggestions from all sorts of interesting people, and Susie has a blast reading some of the experts' advice. For example, throw yourself a slow dance party. (Isn't that a sexy idea?)

Next, Susie gives us her take on why so many political wives choose to stand by their man after he's made the news by partaking in some un-family-like conduct. Mrs. Eliot Spitzer is the latest example. Susie tells us about her correspondence with a member of the Spanish press about how differently American and Spanish wives handle sex scandals. Then, in the "Try This at Home" mailbag, Susie responds to a paradox: having too many sexual choices.
