A GREAT BOOK.

this book dovetails nicely with the previous book. It is interesting as the reader exploits the struggle to restore civilization. The characters are engaging, interesting, and likable. A good read.

First novel is spot on, but then wanders away …

I really want to like this series but it feels like the author left the realm of hard science fiction and got stuck in the weeds of political intrigue and (pseudo) religion. I get enough of that in RL. I put up with Book 2 hoping it would get back on track. However, Book 3 is a finisher, for me at least. I won’t buy any additional titles in this series.

The first book was good and hooked me. The second book was all set up but the third was a dud.
