In the distant 25th century, on the outer ream of the universe, there are two planets with vastly different ways of life.
Nehela is a military planet, where the inhabitants are bred for war and conflicts. The species speaks using a clicking sound and slick surface of the data pod. On the other hand, Hilkiah is a peaceful planet where the people speak in a rhythmic fashion. The Hikiahs are interwoven into the fabric of all living things.
The conflict between these two planets has been raging for over a thousand years, starting with a so-called arranged marriage between both worlds that was meant to be the peace bond between the two species. However, at the last minute, the bride from Hilkiah fell in love with someone else and would not marry the male from Nehela. This action was taken as an offense by the Hilkiahs, and they started a war that has been off and on for over a millennium, with no side having an advantage.
The fighting on both planets is fought in both the physical world and in the spiritual world, with both having an impact in both domains. Both planets are mystical and enchanted, where technology and nature coexist in perfect harmony. The people have the power of conviction and the necessity of defending one's beliefs with their bioluminescent skin.
Throughout the novel, we see how everything that the Hilkiah and Nehela have been through comes together for a bigger and more glorious picture for peace on both planets. Every single experience, every mistake, every trial, hurdle, and test that they faced was working for them. Through faith, hope, and trust, the forces of light come out on top in the end.
