Bland

This was the first part of a three part book; but for a suspense romance, it was bland. The writing is stale, Zoe was ridiculous, and I wish that the book didnt make the turncoat so odvious. I kept my expectations low since it was a freebie. The narrator read the book in a way that made my mind wander. At times, she wasn't that much better than virtual voice. There were times where I can hear, what I guess, was her scratching herself while the multiple bracelets on her wrists loudly jangled. I'm still considering checking out the next part of this story, since this was basically the set-up. However, I'll opt for the ebook instead.
