You don’t have to look far to see that those age 50 and above sometimes are not as highly regarded as they were decades, even centuries, ago. I’m Loving My Age: A Believer’s Guide to Aging Gracefully and Words of Hope for the Elderly was written to encourage older listeners that age shouldn’t be looked down upon but celebrated for all the wisdom and insight available. Although some of the stories written in the book are fictionalized, the principles within those stories show that God still has a plan and purpose for the elderly, long after society has deemed them inadequate. God can still use the older generation to inspire everyone, including the newer generation, to what it means to know and love Jesus and allow Him to lead one’s life. The perfect gift for one’s parent, older friend, and beloved neighbor, I’m Loving My Age will prompt anyone to celebrate their age gracefully, not believing after age 50 that life is over. To God, your life and purpose might just be beginning!
