I really enjoyed this book. Now I need fk go back and read the rest. Both narrator did an excellent job.

Ignite Me- Immortal Vices and Virtues

I have loved every book I have listener to in this series so far. They each have their own story while remaining within the consistent theme. They can be read in any order. I loved this one in particular because the narration is in duet style, meaning the story is narrated through the eyes of the character- (Christian narrates chapters when written from Grayson's view point while Felicity narrates chapters written from Kinsley's point of view) However, the male dialogue parts are spoken by Christian while female dialogue parts are done by Felicity. I LOVE THIS STYLE and hope more books continue to adopt it. No males speaking in a falsetto voice when the female character is talking, but it's their chapter to read. Just adds to the story and makes it so much easier to listen to. These 2 narrators were perfect choices for narration. I enjoyed the storyline. No dim-witted heroine- I loved her personality. Grayson is the perfect growly protective alpha male who is not threatened by a confident kick-ass female. He takes the lead when needed, but also had no problem standing beside Kinsley and supporting her as an alpha queen. I liked the dynamics between these 2 characters. Definitely an excellent read!

Incredible

This book was so good. I love all the books in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. This is a pnr, magic, shapeshifter, intriguing story that I was addicted to.#TheFlockonTour

Very Entertaining!

While this is book 7 in the series in my opinion it is a stand alone as I have not read others and had no problem. I loved watching Grayson be dumbfounded about Kinsley! He sputtered around and thought she was using her powers to hide from his ingrained “I can tell if you are lying” magic. So funny! Kinsley was a delight watching her grow and change. Then add in the side characters to ratchet the humor up even more! The story is told very well as I saw a meek girl become string and unafraid.

I listened to this on audio. Christian Black and Felicity Munroe do amazing at bringing more to the story. They are both perfect picks for this one.

Duet Narration!!

For all the people who shop for audiobooks like I do, I wanted to make the point to say this audiobook is narrated in duet style. I know some of the vice and virtues book are duet and some are just dual narration, and this one is duet. I have really enjoyed this series, even though they aren’t exactly “in order” but it doesn’t take away from the story at all. You don’t have to read the other books in the series, but you do see or hear mention of other characters from the series. And it makes it easier to understand how the different houses work. I’m not so patiently waiting for more books from this series. Each story so far has definitely had its own unique flavor while still being part of the same world. Overall I would say definitely worth the credit, especially if your already invested in the vice and virtues world.

Mysteries and battles everywhere!

I’ve read a bit in the Immortal Vices & Virtues series—not going in order, mainly skipping around to certain authors. The only book I read in Season 1 was of course, Crave Me by Lexi C. Foss, as she’s my favorite author. All of that is to say, that despite that, I did not feel lost during this one. This world is very well designed and I find it easy to slip in and out and to roll with the different authors’ contributions to it.


Fated mates.
Coven life.
Rejected Mates.
Unicorn shifters.
Epic battle scenes.
Lots of secrets and mysteries.
Enemies to lovers … ish.
Found family (literally and figuratively).
Witches.


At times, the writing could be a bit juvenile (~30ish year-old alpha wolves worrying about things like ‘talking about us behind our backs’ wasn’t believable for me.) But mostly, the writing was good and the air of mystery throughout the entire novel was fun, even if predictable. Would read more by this author, in or out of this world.

3.5 stars.

Both narrators had beautiful voices and performed this book perfectly. Highly recommend the audio format of this book. Overall sound quality is clean. 🦩 5 stars.

Ignite Me

Ignite Me is the seventh standalone book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. Heather Renee did it again. This is an amazing story. I loved every moment of it. This is Kinsley and Grayson's story. Felicity Munroe and Christian Black did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life. This book is performed in duet style narration.

This book had some of my favorite elements. Wolf shifters, magic, hot guys, and fated mates. This book is telling Kinsley's story of self discovery, finding love, and showing people who's boss. She's a 28 year old FMC who is strong and confident. This narration was fantastic and I absolutely loved this standalone. #TheFlockVIPReviewTeam
