this is not a book about God or theology, It is about a miss place trust by a man in a relationship that is ending. the "man dressed in white"a third person with sociopathic, narcissistic personality taking advantage of the narrator by acting as a religious Caunselor but most likely is the narrator's wifes lover. Ironically, the wife of the narcissist interloper that is acting as a religious figure and marriage caunselor finds out about the affair causing a separation between the narcissist and his own relationship some poetic justice or perhaps a very real story that happens.

It's a bit of a wibbly-wobbly exploration to find meaning and purpose where most people don't go looking. Pushing together a number of puzzle pieces from possibly different puzzles until they click.
