Good story

Over all was a good story about a girl growing up and the time period. Was fun to hear about different places in the Upper Roaring Fork valley but it was more a story about her life not about her disappeaernce.

Great Listen for me

I bought the book and enjoyed it so much, I wanted to listen to it as I am a long time Audible listener. We often forget the trials and hardships that families experienced to just make a living in the mid to late 1800's. Today we are very spoiled in comparison and sometimes we need to be reminded of the sacrifices it took for them to just survive. This story of a young girl and the difficulties she faced growing up was very touching for me. It is very sad that her life was cut so short. The narrators did an awesome job in my opinion in bringing her story to life.
