The book format is difficult to work with as it jumps forward and backward several chapters after placing the book on pause.

The authors ability to make murder look like a respectable career.

I tried to muscle through this, I made it through the first book... barely.
I thought there would be more action and less mushy stuff.
I don't know if it was the weak storyline or the horrible romance that did me in but I did not like it.

The reader especially got really old.
The second book was boring as heck. Very little action. Too bad because I liked their relationship.
