Has all the tags of great science fiction. Best of all teases the real world potential of these new threads coming together.

brilliant narrator

well told story on human behavior and naivety of those who believe without looking at the bigger picture. characters well thought out great plot. overall humans are quite stupid

Good but hard to follow. Kept having to go back. A lot of "huh!?!" moments.

Idiotic characters!

I hated this book. The characters are idiotic and completely given over to their emotions.

Don't even start reading it...

NOTE:If you read my reviews you'll find most are positive. But I do feel a duty to help others when I feel that they shouldn't even read a book.

Skip book 1 too. I liked book 1, had an interesting concept I had never read before. But Book 2 wanders aimlessly through limp technical innovation ideas, inconsistent character development and ultimately a weak ending between the anti-hero and the protagonist. The supporting cast oddly pushes him to do something, supports his efforts and then despises his decisions despite their work to help him. It ends with a fizzle considering all the tech wiz stuff up to that point. It literally feels like you (the reader) are in the exact same spot as where the 1st book ended. How is it possible for so much to have happend but nothing changed from where the book started? If you read it (I did audible) know that I warned you that it is a gross waste of time with a wandering incomplete story with no depth.

Waste of Time

This is a scathing review, especially since I found (R)evolution so entertaining. I am about 3 hours into the book and am no closer to getting a cohesive storyline or empathy for any of the characters than I was at the start. I am stopping. This was included with Kindle Unlimited, so I didn't use an audible credit. And it definitely would not have been worth the credit!
