“Then Jesus said, ‘For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.’” – John 9: 39

From the moment Isaiah Carter regains his sight after a miraculous healing, he realizes seeing the physical world is only the beginning. What he discovers lurking in the shadows changes everything—because now he can see the spiritual battle raging all around him. In a world where darkness watches from the corners of every room and unseen forces wage war for souls, Isaiah finds himself at the center of a divine calling he never asked for.

With his family torn between faith and doubt, and a mysterious book bearing his father’s name, Isaiah must confront a past that refuses to stay buried and a future that demands his courage. Guided by an angelic warrior named Triezel, haunted by visions that come true, and supported by his fiercely loyal younger sister Hannah, Isaiah steps into a destiny far greater than he ever imagined. As battles rage both in the heavens and in his own home, Isaiah must learn what it means to truly see —not just with his eyes, but with his heart, his spirit, and his purpose.

I Was Blind, But Now I See is a powerful, cinematic journey through faith, fear, and divine awakening. It’s a story about brokenness made whole, blindness turned into vision, and ordinary lives caught up in an extraordinary war between light and darkness. Perfect for fans of supernatural Christian fiction, inspirational thrillers, and listeners seeking a deeper connection to their faith, this gripping tale will leave you breathless—and remind you that sometimes, God chooses the most unlikely vessels to bring His light into the darkest places. Narrated with intensity and heart, this audiobook is the beginning of a series that promises prophecy, power, and purpose.

The splicing of one Angel name into every spot it was to be said was very noticeable and made it hard to pay attention to the actual sentence being read. Proofing the recording prior to release would've been prudent for this issue. The story was nice, following a boy and his family through a spiritual awakening. I don't like these types of stories normally but it was a good storyline and well developed characters. Other than the blatant mispronunciation of the Angel name when it was said the first and 2nd times where you can hear the reader correct it leads me to think she was confused about how to pronounce and therefore recorded it once and then spliced it into the remainder of the story. Good enough for the average person but I am an avid reader and consumer of audio books, so for me that was a solid reason to not give 5 stars across the board.

Good story, recording not so great
