While her mother worked three jobs, Mary Lou cared for not only her father but two younger siblings. Echoes of her childhood challenge return when she later faces the biggest test of her life: her soulmate of forty-seven years, the celebrated artist Nicky Zann, is diagnosed with the little-known disease Lewy body dementia, which ultimately claims his life.
As her beloved husband's sole caregiver throughout this difficult period, Mary Lou discovers invaluable resources for dealing with LBD, all of which she shares with her listeners. Compassion through adversity
Wonderfully written and read with feeling by the author.
Mary Lou Falcone shares through story telling the challenges she has faced through her life and how she has overcome them with grit, resilience, determination, and compassion.
Mary Lou has led an uncommon life that brought her an enviable and adventurous love with Nicky Zann. She recounts how her life experiences helped her rise to the care giving needs as she and Nicky faced diagnosis, traeatment, and loss from Lewey Body Dementia (LBD).
In addition to recounting her and their journey, the book is a resource for other caregivers to understand the path of the disease, coping mechanisms, and available support resources.

Thought this was about Lewy body dementia
but a lot of it is just the author's life story and a lot of self-congratulation. She literally puts words in other people's mouths, including her enemies, making the latter confess their supposed sins against her. Boring and self-serving
