Christianity in its purest form

Many times people think to be a Christian means to be free from sinful desires, or lust, or anything that's bad or even to be at peace and that is just not the case. Lecrae bears his soul, even at the risk of scrutiny, to talk about a familiar situation many young, Black, educated Christians find themselves lost in. His journey is a story that needs to be told, and I'm glad someone of his statue is able to tell it. I don't know how someone could read/listen to him and not be moved not just off of preconceived notions but moved to action to create equity around the world.

Great self help book

I'm a little white girl who doesn't believe in a literal God but I came across a interview that led me to checking out this book. Grateful I did. My father was in prison for most of my life and the family that raised me told me how I was going to end up in prison just like him. When I was finally free when I turned 18 I self medicated but at the time I thought I was just having fun. It's taken me years to get to a good place and even though I am now, I need reminders like this to stay on course. I was surprised how much I related to him. I would recommend this book regardless of race or religion.
