I loved this book

It was unpredictable, and exciting, with lots of twists and turns. It definitely kept me at the edge of my seat!

Finding if self and who HE truly is!

what a ride! this book made me feel for Wayland and what he is going through. this poor boy really goes through the weeds! And we finds about is pretty nuts!

Sad

This book kept me intrigued from beginning to end. It’s a shame that the events could have been avoided if the parents just sat the children down and told them the truth. Very sad.

Good Read

The narrator was interesting, plot was good- with twists, and story was the perfect length. I enjoyed listening to it.

Long book

I only write reviews on books that get to me. This book cause me to stay up alright,I had to know the ending. I felt for this young boy . I had to help him find the answers he was looking for. It’s a long read but I couldn’t put it down. Not the best but not the worst I’ve read. Hope you enjoy this book . Give it a try and don’t start late at night you will be up alright wanting the answers to !

Steven Wever is a wonderful and engaging narrator. He brought the story to life.

needed to know the end.

it was gripping, and it kept me completely engaged. Anytime I had to stop listening. I was heartbroken because I need to know what was happening next I enjoyed the cadence of the author and the narrator.

Pretty good

I was immediately captivated by the title, which drew me into the story. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative, particularly the exceptional narration. The story took an unexpected turn that added depth and intrigue. The writing was so well-crafted that it could make one question whether it was true. I particularly appreciated the seamless blend of coming-of-age suspense and psychological thriller elements.

A REALLY good listen

Enjoyed the twists and turns. I have sorta given up trying to predict "what's next". No good at it, glad Mr. Rickstad is. Really enjoyed the narrator, Steven Weber. He is one of the best I've heard lately. Will look for other books he has done.

Never boring!

I really enjoyed this story, and the narrator. This is my second book by this author and both are awesome!
