After the fact, returning to those journal entries and analyzing the courage and resilience it takes to progress when life was too unbearable.

Reliving moments that didn't seem as if nothing was working. A time when it didn't appear as if God was working fast enough. Looking directly into a different version of self and realizing there is more to learn and live, as life was leveling up the stakes! I AM Free from Me also challenges you to forgive yourself and others for past traumatic hurts that turn on a version of yourself that you thought was dormant. It also provides raw and intimate thoughts to give insight that many of us go through when faced with multiple circumstances of growing through life.

It also promotes the freeness that one gains with just weathering the storm from start to finish and not giving up, no matter the drastic situation. I AM Free from Me encourages you to keep pushing forward when you are faced with the worst. Just remember challenges come and go, but the power within us to maintain the positive inner dialogue to persevere triumphantly!

Candid and Encouraging Book!

Author Renee Harris talks candidly about going through dark moments during the 2019 Pandemic and in 2020 after suffering major losses of family members, financial loss, racial profiling and dealing with suicidal thoughts. But, through all of those challenges, with her Mother's love and encouragement and remaining faithful to God's word, she chose life and to free herself from her own and others' negative opinions. This book shares encouraging examples of how to rise above painful situations, obstacles and negativity in life to free yourself from self-limitations and low points to develop a brave and fearless mentality.

Her ability to create space in this book to look at oneself with humility, grace & care made relating to the journey she shared more possible. Seeing a well accomplished woman offer her candor through free writing entries & anecdotes helped drive home that we all still & will always have our work to do.
