The world is in a state of flux, and the only constant is change. Sometimes, change can be unsettling and unwarranted, and at other times, it can be a welcomed relief. This never happens at the time that one expects or how one expects, but it’s undeniable, regardless of gender, level of wealth, and ethnicity, as it’s the single constant for all life on Earth. In the last five years, the world has been through a tremendous amount of excitability, but when one takes a step back, things aren’t as bad as they seem if looked at from a realistic perspective. The AI narrative will clearly shape our future, and despite people’s right to express their disdain and apocalyptic views, what we really have been introduced to is an evolution of search and more tools for the average person to be more competitive with large corporations than ever before than human history. Tools are tools; don’t necessarily believe all the hype. All in all, it’s a great time to be alive, and despite some demographic and political headwinds, the sky is never falling. There’s no point in working one’s entire life just to retire and die as there is so much more to life through engaging in it. Governments need to focus themselves and their citizens on better health comes to improve quality of life and allow people to work throughout their entire lives, , not on collecting government checks and handouts while watching the world move along without them in front of their televisions in their living rooms. Ciao, Maduro, Maduro! You won’t be missed; so many extrajudicial murders, woe to you and the other Venezuelan communists! Some of the best things in life are free, as the greatest gift that I have received in the last decade was Linux Mint, which combines a sleeker design than Windows 11 and others, and one actually owns their work, i.e., users aren’t forced to feed major tech corporations machine learning models by just turning on their personal computers. Yesterday was history, and tomorrow is always a mystery. There are always challenges, but hope and education are powerful tools for the individual in braving their way forward and navigating ever-changing environments and challenges that persist throughout life.
