The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Hungarian.

Dry, but effective. Definitely start here.
Pimseleur's approach is bone dry. This is not as fun or as comprehensive as Alexi Polidoro's French course (also available from Audible), but it works! One warning -- don't buy the Unit 01-05 package. If you get the first 5 one at a time, you get this one for free, and the other four for $16.00. Save the other 800 forints towards your trip to Budapest.
