Not just a Vampire story!
Where does Human No Longer rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It ranks quite high. I really enjoyed the story.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Human No Longer?
Jennys' absolute devotion to her kids. She adores them and does everything to keep them safe. I also loved her relationship with her brother. They are so close.
What does Sara Mackie bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Sara brings the story alive. Her voice conveyed all the right emotion which is hard to come across when just reading the story.
Any additional comments?
This was more than just a vampire tale. Its a story of survival for a woman who just wants her life back. She is terrified that she will hurt someone and debates leaving. Her love for her kids really shines through though and she knows she never could leave them. This is a character driven story and I loved that. Its not the most action packed book but it's got soul. Katherine Meyer Griffith is such a wonderful writer and I can't wait to read more from her.

Human no Longer
I loved this book.It was hard to put downs I didn't!lol Jenny and Jeff are living a good life after their Vampire encounters in their old town.Sadly the good life ends when Jeff is killed...by a vampire.Soon people in Jennys old town, where she moves back to start disappearing again.This time though they want Jenny.Jenny is special.It is a story of family, friendship and hardship....oh and vampires.Sara Mackie is a good narrator.Her voices for the new vampires are pretty creepy.I bought this one, though I have been gifted a lot by the author in the past!

Frightening Situation!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Absolutely! And I have. This is more of a personal view of someone struggling with a terrible situation, and trying to protect her children at the same time. Most vampire stories they just take off, but she can't. She's the only parent. What a tight spot!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Human No Longer?
When she first realizes she is becoming a vampire but also realizes she can't just abandon her kids. She has to somehow find a way to protect and provide for her kids.
Have you listened to any of Sara Mackie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I'm not sure if I've listened to hers before. She does a wonderful job, though.
