A quick and encouraging read

This book provides insight into the challenges of supporting yourself while living in a world that isn't very accommodating of those with disabilities. The author offers a variety of suggestions for how to deal with those challenges and the success stories she shares are inspiring

A must read if you have a disability!

I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I can relate to the authors personal experiences and her strong desire to be financially independent and continue to work with her disability. I author did a great job narrating this book, it was easy to listen to and follow along with each chapter. She offers very useful advice, I learned alot. This book details different types of resources that can help you find the right job for you. It also touches on how to go about requesting reasonable accommodations in the workplace. I will take the information that I learned from this book and apply it towards my future job endeavors. I like how this book addresses what it is like to live your life with a disability, and it touches on the financial insecurity that comes with having a disability. This book spreads awareness about people who struggle with physical and mental disabilities that can prevent them from working, it also promotes overcoming your own personal obstacles and rising to your highest potential. I definitely recommend giving it a listen!

This book really surprised me — it’s thoughtful, flows beautifully, and offers creative, real-life solutions for living and working with disabilities. I love how it highlights that not all disabilities are visible, giving readers a deeper understanding of what people may be going through. It’s full of smart ideas and positive energy that make you look at challenges in a whole new way. Honestly, I just wish it were longer! A must-read for anyone wanting to grow, adapt, and better connect with others.

Insightful, Empathetic & Helpful!

This book was amazingly written! As a person without a disability, it taught me a great deal about the challenges that disabled people often face. The author does a fantastic job of providing a wide range of resources for different types of employment that meet various disability needs. She also makes you feel genuinely cared for as a reader, and by the end of the book, I felt supported and equipped with plenty of helpful resources. I highly recommend this book to people with disabilities, as well as to those without disabilities who want to better understand and support their loved ones. 10/10!!!!
