This was a great listen, and I appreciated the free pdf being available. Whether we want to or not, digital communication is now a way of life. This book has a broad reach, and I believe it has utility to a wide spectrum of individuals. The introvert, the young teen, the college student, the business owner... I found the cautionary aspects of it to be excellent, in that it underscores the idea of permanency with what we choose to post online, share in emails etc. Recommend this audiobook.

Finally—a communication guide that actually speaks my language! As a shy teen, I’ve read a few “how to talk” books before, but this one felt like chatting with a wise, funny friend who just gets it. The digital-age vibe makes it feel like it was written for us, not our parents.
The examples are real, the tips are super doable, and the digital-age focus makes it so relatable. The icebreakers are gold, the confidence hacks work instantly, and the stories had me nodding like ‘yep, that’s me.’ Now I’m starting conversations without that weird panic and even speaking up in class without melting inside.
Highly recommend for any teen who wants to ditch the awkward and level up their social game.

This audio books provides great guidance into how to develop and communicate effectively with the people we work, socialize or with those who we want to develop a professional or social relationship. I teachers you the value of active listening and small talk as a mens to overcoming social anxiety and developing lasting relationships in the long run. I like the concept and meaning of networking as it is explained here; I had the wrong idea about it until I read this section. It stresses the importance of knowing how to communicate a variety of digital platforms by being mindful or the culture and generations the use each. It was useful to be reminded of our digital footprint and to be mindful of the post we put out there. Journaling, being observant of successful communicators and implementing the SMART goal technique was useful advice.
