Very Engaging

This book blends the engaging storytelling fans of the podcast know and love with great facts and survival tips. It is a pretty unique approach to a survival guide and well worth the listen.

Great content

I Loved the whole thing. The content was fantastic and narrators were perfect. Wish it was longer!

Don’t put on for background noise

I’m a big fan of the podcast and was pleased to see the book. I enjoyed it but I found it hard to keep up at points and had to rewind multiple times to fully grasp the story. The main narrator (the new guy) was mostly good, but I swear he said “fortunately” about the shark attack victim joining the list of shark attack victims.

But yes still had the same flavor of the podcast with lots of new stories (or maybe episode I skipped lol) and old favorites. The chill that ran down my spine when I listened to the Camp Fire episodes years ago ran down my spine listening to it again.

Wish it were longer or more in depth. They could have really killed this and they did in a lot of ways but it’s a little more mediocre than I expected. It felt more generic than I wanted it to be 🤷‍♂️
