Don't miss this BRAND NEW, unputdownable, dark and witty crime thriller

A must-listen for fans of Bella Mackie, Katy Brent, Alex Michaelides' The Silent Patient and true crime like Mindhunter.

I’m psychologist Dr Emy Rose, but that’s not my real name.

I work with serial killers who've hidden their victims. My job is to find the bodies - and I'm kind of awesome at it.

The trick is to get inside these murderers' minds. And there's one in particular I'm hellbent on breaking.

Why? None of your business! Just know, I'll stop at nothing to read that killer's mind...

This unsettling, brilliant novel will get into your head and under your skin. Order now!

'A fast-paced, tension-building mystery with a shattering finale. Tam Barnett is a name to watch.' Daily Mail on How to Get Away With Murder

I don't know how she does it, but Church can get more mileage and meaning and nuance and threat out of one syllable than other narrators can get out of a whole book. Tam Barnett's latest is a well-written, deeply disturbing thriller that I would have found hard to listen to if Imogen Church didn't make it so riveting and compelling. That is not at all a condemnation of the writing - it's an expression of my own discomfort with the content (vicious serial killers whose tortured victims are children.) If twisted psychopaths and the people who try to make sense of them are your jam, look no further. I had purchased this in advance of its publication because I'd read How to Get Away with Murder, written and performed by the same duo. These books are lessons in mastery.

Imogen Church and Tam Barnett have done it again!

The premise of this book is ridiculous and would just never happen. Also, the author tried to make the main character loveably sarcastic, but she just came across as incredibly rude. And the "love story"...so stupid. A reporter asks her two questions then suddenly they are in lo e and can't keep their hands off each other? Please.
