Trouble is, after his messy divorce, I'm not sure Perry's ready to bet on a new relationship. But it isn't just my heart that's on the line. And after everything we went through before my husband died, I'm not sure that's a gamble I'm ready to take.

Way better than the first!

Loved this story and narration so much more than the first book! The voices fit the characters better, but I still feel like the male narrator’s voice could have been improved and I struggled a lot with the mismatch of his voice for Lila and the female narrator’s voice. They were just so different that it made it hard to go back and forth between the narrators when they were voicing the same character.

Sweet romcom!

I loved the book and loved the characters! The narration was great. The only difficulty I had was the quick wrap up.

Such a cute story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book so much. It’s the definition of a romantic comedy 100%. No super drama, no random side stories. I just really loved it.

these stories are so fun, sweet and funny! Makes me laugh out loud and are so sweet! Romantical too! Best part with all that is they are clean. i really appreciate that. Little heart squeezes work just fine, thank you very much....

Grumpy/sunshine

Lila and Perry actually communicate like adults. There’s still plenty of navigating past old hurts and having to get past failures but it was refreshing to see a couple actually talking and not assuming what the other was thinking. Having said that, there is plenty of sweet heat and chemistry going on! And the kisses are really hot but no spice!

Cute story

This was a cute story. 2.75 stars 😬 I will continue to read the series and see what unfolds.
