Built my confidence

This audiobook really nails it when it comes to building confidence and learning real life skills. It covers everything from self worth and handling doubt to practical stuff like cleaning, fixing things, and managing money. I loved listening with my kids we all picked up great lessons about decision making, resilience, and communication. The narrator’s voice fits perfectly, making it such an enjoyable and inspiring listen for both teens and adults.

Excellent content

I listened to this with my nephew, and we had to stop it a bunch of times to talk about it. That was great. This really got the ball rolling, and got him thinking about (and getting excited about) growing up. Great book. Excellent narrator, too.

Essential Info for your Teen

I have a teen and she honestly needed this so much. This audiobook covered a ton of useful topics that it seems kids are clueless about, especially the financial advice. This guide helped my teen to create a budget that actually works for her. The section on handling social situations was also a huge help for her confidence. She said it felt like she was listening to a friend give solid advice without being preachy. It’s a listen I think every high schooler could benefit from.

My kiddo is on his own for the first time, and he was looking for some help beyond his mom. After I cried a bit, I found this awesome audiobook for him. After giving it a listen, he worked through it. He loved it and has used and quoted several things from the book, asking for my opinion. This book actually brought us closer together, and I am thankful this resource was here.
