When I first started practicing Christian naturism, it felt like I was stepping into a world that few people understood, especially within the Christian community. I remember feeling like I had to keep this part of my life private because I wasn’t sure if there were other believers out there who shared the same conviction—that nudity can be practiced in a way that honors God, restores the innocence of the Garden of Eden, and deepens our relationship with Him.

At first, it felt strange, but soon enough, I came across people who were just like me—followers of Jesus who saw their bodies as part of God’s good creation and who wanted to worship and live without the shame society often attaches to nudity.

As I became more comfortable and confident, I began attending naturist retreats and visiting resorts that had Christian services. I’ve found incredible fellowship in these spaces. Worshiping and fellowshipping with others who share my faith and practice naturism has been one of the most freeing experiences of my life. I didn’t feel like I had to explain myself or defend my choices—it was a safe, welcoming space where the focus was always on our love for God and our desire to live authentically before Him.

I’ll share practical tips from my own experiences, along with advice on how to approach this topic within your church community or with other Christians in your life.
