I love the first story in this book

I love the first story in this book because it once happened to me. John receives a shirt that basically says he can't learn anything because he's too busy telling people how to do things. I once received something similar to this about 20 years ago. I received it again about 8 years ago and that's when I took it seriously. I've read this book before and I enjoyed it then as much as I enjoyed it now! There are lots of great lessons here and I can see why I was led to listen to it now. I've begun a new phase in my life where failure is a constant friend. I'm taking lots of notes and learning from my failures. As you go through this book, take plenty of notes because it will help you when failure happens. It will also help you when success happens to keep you from inflating your ego!

There are better Maxwell titles out there

This isn’t one of his finest. It is full of stories and quotes that are loosely brought together.
