Resumen del Editor

How much would it change our view of God the Father, and ultimately our life with him, if we saw him the way Jesus actually revealed him to us? If we understood that if we who are evil know how to give good gifts, how much more will our father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask?

This is not an audiobook about the prosperity gospel. This an audiobook about discovering the depths of the father's love through the full gospel of Jesus Christ. Not just the payment for our sins, but securing our adoption as sons and daughters of the creator of the universe. It is about discovering who we are and whose we are, and what that means for us today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

Great Book that any Christian Father should Read!

I've become friends with the narrator William Hoyle & I checked out this book to hear his material. It's his first foray into audiobook narration & as such, it's not perfect, but it probably beats my first . His narration was personal & I enjoyed hearing another father read this title.
The book presents how we can understand the love of our Father in Heaven in a way that is personal & that changes the way we understand Him. The author relates how his own experiences with his own father, as with so many others, have tainted his perception of Fatherhood & even how he views his Father in Heaven. I appreciated his personal experience & his helping us to see more clearly just how much the Father loves us & wants the very best for us. As a son who's father left at 5 and then had a step father who I could never connect with, I've definitely dealt with this myself. As a father of several kids now, This listen has already changed my paradigm about how I show love to my own children, but also allows me the Grace to accept my own shortcomings & the Grace to be able to accept the love from my fathers as they were able to give it. Thank you Golfran for sharing this with us.
So - why 4 stars instead of 5?
Golfran gets a little bit into specific dogma that may be particular to various sects / doctrinal differences that exist between Christianity, and outright excepts some peoples beliefs. I feel this is what turns people off from Faith & organized religion in particular. It was distracting & didn't really add anything to the message of the book. Also, I consider myself a born again Christian, but this book assumes too much that the listener is & could be much more inclusive to even those of non Christian faiths.
