Recent UCF grad Avarie Smith is thrust into a magical world hidden in plain sight right here in Orlando when she is attacked by what the locals call a skunk ape. Little did Avarie know this would throw her headlong into a world of hidden magic, where Dark is pitted against Light.

To protect the universe’s most potent and rare mythical creatures, Avarie must first prove herself worthy of joining a secret society known as HoundsHouse through a series of tests. She finds herself fighting pirate rats at Skycraft Parts & Surplus, matching wits with 3-inch tall lawyers, and racing demons in a crash-'em-up bus derby at Orlando Speed World.

With support from new friends, Avarie unites the forces of Dark and Light Magic and uncovers a map pointing to where the mythical creatures are hiding. But now she needs the listener's help to decode that map and bring the animals to safety. Yes, listener, this means you!
