Engaging stories.

The Scottish narrator did an excellent job throughout the stories.

For me, the story that hit home the best was the first one. Its hard these days finding horror to read that feels original, where you don't already see the entire plot in your head before you finish it. This book did indeed creep me out to a certain point, as desensitized as I am, which is a major achievement. It keeps the suspense, and the use of blood and death is just the right amount without being cringy or stupid.

If you are looking for a light read before bed, on the beach, on the bus, pretty much wherever, you won't go wrong with this one.

An enjoyable listen

This audiobook was a delight. The stories were superb, and the narrator's performance flawlessly evoked the Scottish setting. The execution was impressive, and the four short stories were a particular highlight. I look forward to "Scotland 2.

Horror in Scotland

What scares you? Crabs...check! Maggots...check! Cockroaches...check! Maybe it's something ordinary like too much candy on Halloween or trees surrounding your house. These four stories have a bit of something for everyone!

Each story is fast-paced and full of gore, creeping horror and moments that will have you looking over your shoulder. If you enjoy short horror stories that are well-written and full of great characters, you will be sure to enjoy this collection by four great Scottish authors!

The audiobook was great and the narrator was perfect for this one. His Scottish accent was just enough without being too much for this Southern girl's ears! I highly recommend this anthology for anyone looking for a few quick, creepy stories!

These stories are fun, quick and enjoyable. Always leaving you wanting more. KJK always does an amazing job with his anthologies and I'll read them all

Disgusting and morbid. Perfection

Once I started listening I found it impossible to stop. My children wept for they could no longer capture my attention. My husband raged at the thought of another man’s voice enrapturing me with every word… Then it ended.
It was over! The time had flown by, all that was left were distant memories of candy vomit and fat, hairy flies. No more crabs and no more botanically challenged phallus. How can my world go on?

Sorrow has filled the void these stories left behind and dread has taken the place of the narrators voice so mercilessly ripped from my ears.

I beg to have more in the near future, if not, I will surely perish.
