In these days of perilous, precarious hope, the churches and other faith communities must somehow continue to speak and live hope, speak truth to power, seek peace with justice, and sing hope. Somehow, we must conjure the audacity, as the ancient prophet Joel intimated, “to see visions and dream dreams”, and have the temerity to hope against all that seems to persistently rise against hope.
This book is the third volume of sermons on the Psalms written and published since 2016, with the first two volumes being: Keep Looking Up (2016) and Songs for the Seasons (2020). It is hoped that this compilation of sermons will read like a songbook - speaking hope, and encouraging each who reads it to forever sing hope!
