Synopsis

Bethany and John have always been the envy of all their friends; so in love with each other, always holding hands. They have now been married for almost two years, and are faced with a challenge they did not expect; no baby. It suddenly dawns on them that having a baby is not a given. Their faith is shaken to its core as their family members start to interfere. John is from an African background while Bethany is British. Their cultural differences are beginning to rear its head and their future together seems unclear. As they chart the unknown waters, it is uncertain if this situation will break them or make them stronger. They find themselves dealing with the judgemental nature of friends and family, associated with the pain, loneliness and frustration that follow from infertility. This is a journey which will either bring them together and closer to God, or break them up.
Then when it finally seems to be going well for Bethany and John, tragedy strikes…. Only faith, hope and love can keep them going.
