Hood Ornaments 1900-1959

Visit any car museum and watch visitors taking pictures. They always get a shot of the hood ornament. WHY? Perhaps it’s because cars no longer have them. Maybe, but I think there’s more to it than that. The ornament is a small sculpture; it works in the same way an artist’s fine art works – on the emotions.
