great book

awesome story, couldn't stop listening. kept me on my toes, waiting on what was next

Refreshing read.

I really like reading about Integrity Adare. She is an interesting character and it is always fun to see what she will do next. I wish her clans hidden past would come forth quicker but you can't have everything at once. The buildup is good.

A bunch of exciting turns!

I enjoyed this book so much! The characters are so easy to love and the development of each one is great. The story is on point and its rather funny at times. I enjoy this series and this author alot! I loved it

I might look in on this series again

Honor bound is the second book in the Highland magic series and the first book I've listened to from Helen Harper. For me it started off slow and seemed almost uninteresting. The narration wasn't to my liking at first because the Scottish accent of the main character seemed to clash with the writing/speaking style. Perhaps it was just something I wasn't used to at first because I was surprised when I found myself engrossed in the story by mid book. Looking back I find that the narration was one of the better ones I've heard. There is a lot of romantic drama in this novel. A lot of our main characters thoughts seem to center on her feelings for her love interest. Luckily there was a lot of action and clever interactions between characters snd that may keep my interest in this series alive.

What made the experience of listening to Honour Bound the most enjoyable?

It keeps you hooked and wanting for more. I usually listen to audible on my way to/from work while stuck in traffic. Listening to all 3 books of this series, i found myself parked and not wanting to get our of the car, because i didnt want to stop listening. Love it. Can't wait till the 4th book comes out.

All 3 books were amazing. I was hooked and didnt want to stop listening. Storyline is amazing, characters are brilliant.

Have you listened to any of Saskia Maarleveld’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I LOVE SASKIA. Hands down, my favorite narrator of all time! She is simply amazing. I wish more books were narrated by her.

Harry Potter with a touch of Hunger Games

I enjoyed this book with set in the challenge of the games. Integrity is living up to her name. Can't wait to read the next book.

Good story with a great narrator

Good story with a great narrator. I couldn't help liking the story. This is the second one I've bought. The plot is a good one. gets a little weak in the middle, but a good one nonetheless. I love the narrator voice. Different from what I'm used to, but smooth on the ear.

Humorous

Love the humor in this book and the fact that she's a pacifist! A person with good intentions, but flawed just like any other being. I also appreciate that she's not the weak and whiny.

unexpected happenings and unexpected conclusion

The story is exciting and holds my interest . There is very good imagination. The next turn of events surely keeps one on one's toes . There is romance. There is wizardry . There are good people and there are bad people . And then, the story is unpredictable .
