Hobart is a little pig with a big dream: he wants to be a tap dancer. There's just one problem; Hobart and his talented siblings Wilfred, Violet, and Byron are scheduled for a trip to the City Meat Company, where they may meet their fate at the sausage machine.

Hobart's family despairs. But not Hobart, for he is a pig with hope. And a pig with hope can accomplish wonders, as listeners will happily discover in this delightfully funny tale about life on the farm and the power of a dream. The musical finale will have listeners of all ages tapping their shoes in delight.

OK story but the actual running time is only abround 45 minutes as the last 20 minutes of the program is made up of previews for further productions. The last 5 minutes was Hobart's song which is pretty awful. The story is derrivative but tolerable. All in all not worth the $8.

Just OK

A selection for my toddler in the car, this book had a cute story, but the narration was abysmal. She sounded as though she was double parked and needed to get through the story as fast as possible before she got a ticket! Oh and monotonous... My toddler didn't seem to mind, but it was killing me!

Ow, my ears!
