Great 3rd installment

This was another great installment of the MacLeod series. It had an awful lot of sad parts in it but at least the H&H were cohesive for the majority. I prefer when the issues run more in the plot of the story and less in the relationship. My only issue with the narration was that she made Maggie sound like a little girl. Kind of whiny even. I felt like someone who was purported to be strong and brave, she should have had a more mature voice.

I got this on sale for $4.20 and it was absolutely well worth it!

Maggie and Callum, what a pair! This book is very interesting and exciting from the beginning.

Well paced with great characters!

An excellent mix of plot lines with both good and sad stories. The hero and heroine were both complex and well defined!

5 Stars to the author and 5 to the narrator as well. A very good book filled with twists and turns that hold your attention until the very end. Loved this audiobook. 💗

Great story, great series!

I am loving this series! Except for the first book in which I found the heroine extremely annoying. The stories are not quite as predictable as some other series that I have read in this genre. I love the narrator! She does a great job with both the male and female voices. Some others that I have heard almost make the males characters sound wimpy or half witted instead of strong and sexy. I accidentally listened to book 4 before book 3 and that one was definitely my favorite. Typically I wouldn’t spend a credit on the last book in a series but I think I am going to have to for book 5. Gotta find out how Kerr finally wins Isabella’s hand.
