AI Virtual Voice Ruined A Just-Okay Book

It's such a low effort book to have a virtual voice do the narration. With so many AI books being voiced by AI virtual voices, it's always that same annoying bland voice in every book, and it's hard not to think that maybe the book was also written by AI. I'm not saying it is, but using that AI voice makes it hard to separate from the association. The first two chapters provide useless back story, and then you're just waiting for them to get to the point. There are some good occasional useful useful bits, like when to hit a third shot drive vs a third shot drop. Overall, the book is just okay with a mild scattering of interesting points, but the AI voice kills it and sucks away your attention.
