Just all of it

From the storyline to the narration it was superb. Light mystery with a sweet romance. I would recommend listening to this book. If you have a chance her post apocalyptic series is definitely worth a listen.

After listening to Hide No More by Rita Potter, audio narrator Jessie Elwyn has been bumped into my list of favourites. Her voice is smooth, and her characterisation is clear and individualised for each character. For myself, a bit of an audio snob, this is a great find; we all know the wrong narrator can kill a fantastic book.

Attorney Rachel is pushed into a strange appointment by the partners of the firm, with the promise it would help her make partner. She is hesitant when she finds out it is an undercover gig with Vicky, a woman who is hiding from the mafia.

As the women embrace the roles of a married couple in a small town, tentative friendship forms into attraction. Vicky and Rachel begin to feel comfortable, settling into a routine. It isn’t long before someone starts questioning their new friends, and they know they need to work out who is behind it all so they can have their happily ever after.

Potter’s characters are perfectly flawed, each with unique struggles and judgments. The gradual unveiling of backstories and the MCs’ journeys through their insecurities kept me glued to the story. Potter skillfully crafts deeply developed characters within a plot brimming with mystery, action, and romance. Hide No More is one of those books that grabs you right from the blurb. I went in with high expectations, and they were exceeded tenfold.

Entertaining Listen…

Small town vibe with well developed and likable main characters on the run from the mob. Story kept me guessing until the end and I would definitely recommend it. I also really enjoyed the narration and found it easy to recognize characters by voice. For those interested-spice was foreplay fading to black.

(There is a possible trigger for SA of a minor. This was off page and had happened years earlier. Brief mention with no details.)

Slow burn romance! Great characters and plot. Definitely one of Rita Potter’s hits! Loved the Audio version too!!

Wonderful Mystery and Love Story

I thoroughly enjoyed reading, listening to this book. There is humor, mystery, and a wonderful love story. I adore the characters that the author developed. I had never heard this particular narrator before, and she did such a fantastic job narrating this book.Her voice was perfect. You will really enjoy listening to this fun book.

I adored this book when I first read it. I adore it even more now that I’ve listened to it! Jessie Elwyn’s voice is just gorgeous and fits Rachel and Tori perfectly!

This story about mafia mistress, Vicky Cogburn, going into hiding with uptight attorney, Rachel Huntington, is just wonderful. It’s funny, romantic, sexy and has a little angst and action thrown in! The cast of supporting characters are fantastic as well.

This book is on my “Read Again” shelf for sure. Well done Rita Potter and
Jessie Elwyn! I hope you have many more collaborations in the future!

A Delightful Romance Narrated Beautifully

After reading the ebook, I anxiously awaited the audio edition. Having now listened to that audio, I can say, it was well worth the wait.

Excellent story full of suspense and romance

The beginning is intriguing and immediately draws you in. The writing is clever and well-crafted, complemented by the excellent narration of Jessie Elwyn, which perfectly distinguishes each character's voice. The mood is beautifully captured, enhancing the overall storytelling.

This is a fantastic story brimming with suspense and romance, and I highly recommend it!

What a WONDERFUL story!

I throughly enjoyed EVERY element of this story! Mafia, fake relationship, face to black, found family, found self, great story, great narrator, ALL of it. I really want to listen again. RIGHT NOW! 😄
