Chase Connor had left the hustle and bustle of the California scene for a quiet place in Montana. He purchased a bookstore thinking that this would provide him with the peace and quiet that he had wanted. That all changed when he opened a historical book and found a map sewn into the back cover.

Not sure what it all means, he and others try to solve a mystery that has haunted the Mountain Ridge community for the past year.
