Heros of History is a super fun and entertaining way of learning unique and interesting facts about some of the greatest people in the history of mankind. I know it designed to be for children, but I will admit that I really enjoy listening and learning with my child which typically sparks up some more questions and dialogue with him. He really liked the story about Cleopatra and learning how she was a dedicated student that spent lots of time studying and new how to speak 9 languages, including being the first in her family to speak Egyptian, all by the age of 12 years old. We also learned so much about Leonarda da Vinci and his childhood and what made him so special. I had no idea that he began studying the human anatomy by dissecting animals and then humans as a teenager. Very interesting information in this audiobook that you will love.

We started listening to this in the car on the way to school and during bedtime. It quickly turned into something we both looked forward to. The stories are short but packed with fun facts, like how Amelia Earhart built a roller coaster in her backyard or how many words Shakespeare created. My daughter really liked learning about Frida Kahlo, Malala, and Anne Frank. It covers inventors, artists, leaders, and more, and the narration keeps it interesting without being too fast or too slow. Great mix of inspiration and fun.

History My Kid Actually Enjoyed

I got this for my 10-year-old who usually finds history kind of boring, but this book totally changed that.
