Here and Now is the result of that proposal: the epistolary dialogue between two great writers who became great friends. I thoroughly enjoyed this heartfelt and Brilliant random walk the lives of two brilliant men. as a nearly 60 year old man so much of what they discuss hits home and brings a treasure trove of new perspectives to light as well. The book begins discussing friendship and that is the through line and subtext in this masterful collection of letters.
