I’m an 18-year-old grizzly shifter living alone in the forest. It hasn’t been easy, and I’m barely getting by. My sleazy neighbor Greg makes it a thousand times worse when he reports me to the Clan Council.

While herding my goats, I meet Roy, a grizzly with gleaming topaz eyes and a feral power that overwhelms the whole forest. He offers to pay me back for scaring my goats, and I accept.

Bringing him home gets me more than I bargained for. My feral awakening happened the moment we met. My inner bear wants to claim him with her bite. Too bad I already know I can never have a true mate.

I leave my forest hiding place to satisfy my needs and change location. I’m on the run from friend and foe.

When I meet the little shepherdess, she instantly ignites my inner grizzly. I agree to go home with her, but I know it’s a mistake. My desire for her is too intense, and she’s far too innocent for what I need.

I quickly grow to care for Nina. She makes me feel things I thought were no longer possible. She makes me want to stay.
