David takes you for a wild ride through his adventure and tragedy filled life. I couldn’t get enough and am very happy to hear there will be more books. His narration is spot on.

Amazing book and amazing author

Love the entire book. It is great to get some backstory on so many things especially flying with the President of the United States. Also amazing stories about filming in Alaska.

A peek behind the curtain

David’s ability to share the highs and lows (no pun intended) of such a unique profession was truly enlightening. The risks involved in providing us entertainment have never before been exposed with such detail. Just a terrific read.

Really enjoyed the book!

David’s a great story teller. I felt like I was sitting at a table listening to him talk. I laughed, I cried, and everything in between. If you like hearing people’s stories and how they got where they are, this is a book for you.

Great Book

I originally purchased this because of Mr. Arnold's TicTok content and his references to the deadliest catch. I have always loved that show and thought it would be great to get a little insight as to how the show was filmed. Boy was a pleasantly surprised by what was actually in the book. Filled with life stories and very relatable life situations. I can not wait till installment 2 comes out!!!!

Amazing Book! Amazing insight to this amazing man

As a fan of Deadliest Catch, I was amazed when I came across the camera man for the show (David Alan Arnold) on Tik Tok. I followed him and have been seeing his posts for quite some time. Then when he said he had a book, you better believe I would look for it here on Audible.

The book is amazing. It is a great history of how David became the amazing camera man he is now. As a reader, I felt honored that he shared his life struggles, and of course his life celebrations. He is the epitome of how a person can over come life struggles and still end up on top.

I enjoyed his stories about flying; especially the close calls that he was involved in when on board the helicopter. I especially enjoyed (I say enjoy because it was a happy ending) the story about being caught in a storm, and having the boat captain legend Sig Hansen help point the direction back to shore. That’s what makes Sig a legend, because he will help everyone who needs it.

David, thank you for writing this book; and as I said on Tik Tok, Thank you for sharing stories about Gibbs. He may have been tough on you, but he cared about you and being tough and giving you a hard time was his way of showing he cared. By sharing stories about him, you have forever memorialized him, and the amazing man he was!
