Great book

I loved this book and the way Erin writes and tells a story. I’m glad she reads it herself. Her other book, the one that they wrote together (Make Something Good Today) is one of my favorite audiobooks!

Inspired me to love my home and cherish those in it.

I truly enjoyed this audible voice recording/book!!!! I loved the personal stories and how they told just enough, yet not take away from certain aspects of their private experiences. I loved how in detail they explained their personal experience with their home ownership as well as the personal experiences of those featured on Hometown. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait until they come out with a new publication.

Love listening to the stories of the lives of the Napiers. Such a welcome break from a crazed world.

The emotions of home

Erin seems to capture all of the emotions evoked by one’s home and family. From the smells, to the textures to the frustration of renovations and toys underfoot. But also the sweetness of those temporary things. She writes in a way that she conveys what I feel. Especially when I don’t think I can string the words together in the right way to portray the bittersweetness of life. I definitely recommend this book. But keep the tissues handy.
