This volume represents one of my favorite career challenges: creating this radio adventure for the Voice of Prophecy ministry. Our broadcast team always envisioned the national audience reached by our scripts: thoughtful Christians and seekers longing for a better life empowered by the gospel. Paul’s epistle to the Philippians is among the richest of scriptural gifts to the world! Believers everywhere have been encouraged by his exhortation: “I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me.” And his poignant passage about Christ humbling Himself and being obedient to the cross, followed by the grandest of all galactic inaugural parades beautifully fits in with biblical theology about the Father’s coronation of His own victorious Son at the millennium’s conclusion.

I’ve chosen “Infinity Gifts” as the main thesis, partly because of my happy years as a math professor. Heaven’s promise of infinite power is repeated by Paul over and over: power to forgive others, power to obey more fully, to endure trials, to seek a holy life that is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy. So many struggling Christians have been encouraged here in Philippians that in Jesus, it can be truly said “all things are possible.” This book project follows my exciting adventure of creating a row of ten faith-based love stories all set in my childhood home of Thailand.

Rachel Marie Stone is the central character in a joyful team of teachers at the fictional Bangkok Christian School. On a personal note, I’ve retired after fifteen wonderful terms at San Bernardino Valley College. Lisa and I enjoy morning walks in Newbury Park, California, and the cheerful praise songs at Simi Valley Adventist Church where my brother Donald is senior pastor! A happy shout-out to my four awesome grandkids: Kira, Katrina, Audrey, and Miles.
